Huck, TCO London and The Outsiders Project at the Blue Earth Summit

Huck was a media partner at the inaugural Blue Earth Summit, an industry event aiming to create conversation and activation based around a shared belief in the power of an outdoor lifestyle to promote a sustainable future. The Outsiders Project spoke on a panel titled ‘Who Owns The Outdoors?’ and our Sustainability lead was also on hand.

Phil Young, Co-Founder of The Outsiders Project, TCO’s agency and platform designed to diversify the outdoor through access, knowledge and representation says

“The inaugural Blue Earth Summit was a great platform to discuss some of the important topics featured in the forthcoming Outsiders Project report about the future of Diversity and Inclusion in the Outdoors. With some of the influential voices in the intersection of outdoor sports and sustainability, it opened some interesting new conversations and opportunities.”

Chloé Dyson, TCO London’s Sustainability Director added

”We'd be on track for carbon and nature positivity by 2030 if every climate summit was like this! Half indoors with panel discussions, stories and solutions presented by the leading doers, change-makers and brands; half outdoors biking, trail running, swimming, surfing and wave-making. The first Blue Earth Summit showed just how important blue health is, and let you experience it first hand - it's a magic formula. Sustainability takes on a whole new meaning when you're connected to nature.”
