Crack Magazine’s Duncan Harrison joins TCO London as Executive Creative Director

TCO London, the global agency and media owner of culture, food and entertainment titles Huck, Sandwich and Little White Lies, have hired Duncan Harrison as Executive Creative Director.

Duncan will lead an in-house team of creatives that leverage TCO’s portfolio of media titles as a launchpad for brand campaigns in culture, food, lifestyle and beyond.

Duncan joins from independent music title Crack Magazine where he’s spent the last eight years across partnerships and digital before setting up and leading their agency division in 2021 building long-term relationships with Nike Europe, AEG Presents and Shure. In that time, he worked across art direction, editorial and strategy with projects spanning the Top Boy cast cover with Netflix, a national incubator scheme for music video directors, a zine with Thom Yorke and Greenpeace and a cultural history campaign with Levi’s and Queer Britain.

Duncan says, “Having spent years playing a small part in building what I consider to be the best music magazine in the world, I really believe in the power real stories have for brands and I’m ambitious about what audiences can fall in love with. I’m excited to join TCO and apply this thinking across their channels and partners with their superbly talented team.”

Duncan will report to TCO’s Managing Director Simon Baker, who joined TCO from ITN Productions in 2017.

Simon says, “TCO is built on the belief that brands should be additive to culture, not just take from it. Duncan brings a rare mix of creative leadership and cultural insight that makes him uniquely equipped to drive this vision forward. His arrival signals an exciting step in evolving how we build meaningful brand stories through our media and creative work.”

TCO is a global creative agency for GORE-TEX Consumer Brands, Unilever Food Solutions, adidas and the custom publishing partner of Netflix and Amazon Studios.
