Accenture championing stories of 'Trailblazers' for IWD 2019

Introducing Trailblazers Volume 2, championing five stories of changemakers who are reshaping culture through inclusion and innovation.

To celebrate International Women’s Day 2019, Accenture wanted to showcase how a culture of equality can drive innovation. To do this TCO were commissioned to identify, interview, and capture brilliant individuals who are demonstrating the power inclusion can have in today’s culture. From enabling unimaginable dreams by introducing AI to world famous Abbey Studios to the launch of Kaleidoscope Investments, a company committed to training, mentoring, motivating and seed funding people with disabilities with compelling business ideas, recently dubbed as ‘Dragon’s Den for Disability’. This book is part of ongoing partnership we have with Accenture aiming to shine a light on those who are challenging outdated expectations and unlocking overlooked potential.

“Being inclusive promotes a sense of belonging and leads us to value and respect individual choices, fostering innovation in its truest sense. We believe that inclusion is about feeling part of a community where everyone can be authentic – a place and a space that employees feel that they can bring their whole self to work. At Accenture we know that by creating a space that is ‘Truly Human’, we can organically drive the innovation and change that we want to see.” - Accenture 2019
